Job Description Chaput Automobile Inc. Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram - Varennes is looking for an experienced Mechanic / Technician to join their dynamic team. You diagnose and repair Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM vehicles, new or used, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of vehicles.
- Perform oil changes, part replacements, alignments, balancing, and preventive and corrective repairs.
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams, plans, and service sheets; document work performed on service orders.
- Use specific diagnostic tools and equipment and ensure workplace safety.
- Collaborate with other technicians and service staff to propose solutions tailored to clients.
- Adhere to quality standards and turnaround times.
Profile Sought
- DEP in automotive mechanics or equivalent; minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position (ideally in a car dealership).
- Good knowledge of engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, emissions, and electronic systems.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams; proficiency with diagnostic and computer tools.
- Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license; availability to work according to service hours.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly; attention to detail and professional rigor.
