Job Description
Autofleet Services Inc., a highly active auto repair shop with four bays, located just outside Waterloo, Ontario, is looking for a qualified mechanic / technician to join our team. This full-time position requires a minimum of three years of practical experience in auto repair.
What you will do
- Diagnose, identify, and repair a variety of vehicles using up-to-date diagnostic tools and factory equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs, adhering to safety and quality standards
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams, service manuals, and repair procedures
- Accurately document the work performed and communicate findings to clients and team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; contribute to a positive shop culture
- Participate in a paid monthly training session for technicians and stay updated with industry best practices
- Assist with road tests and diagnosis refinement if necessary
What you bring
- At least 3 years of practical experience in auto repair
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and strong analytical skills
