Experience and qualifications required
- Minimum of one year of experience in tire and wheel installation.
- Knowledge of removal/reinstallation methods and tools, balancing, and rim inspection.
- Ability to perform physical work (handling heavy loads, manipulating tires and wheels).
- Good customer service skills and ability to advise clients on tire choices and maintenance.
- Proficiency in French; team spirit and reliability.
- Valid driver's license is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Install and replace tires and wheels on various vehicles (cars, SUVs, utility vehicles) according to safety standards and manufacturer instructions.
- Check tire condition, perform balancing, and mount wheels; identify defects and recommend replacement when necessary.
- Conduct safety checks (pressure, wear, tightening according to prescribed torque).
- Advise clients on tire selection (seasonal, summer/winter, performance) and additional services.
- Keep the workshop clean, organized, and safe; manage tire and wheel inventory and ensure stock rotation.
- Collaborate with the team to provide quick, efficient, and quality service.
