Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Lot Attendant to join a dealership in east Montreal. The role focuses on ensuring the organization, safety, and efficiency of our vehicle lot in support of sales and service operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome, direct, and move incoming and outgoing vehicles around the lot, ensuring orderly and safe movement.
- Conduct daily inventory counts and ensure vehicles are consistently classified and positioned according to operational priorities.
- Prepare vehicles for display or transfer to the service department, and coordinate transfers with the relevant teams.
- Visually inspect vehicles for damage or irregularities and follow up with the appropriate departments.
- Keep lot areas clean and safe, follow safety procedures, and help prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with sales and service teams during promotional events, vehicle deliveries, and periodic inventory counts.
Requirements and Qualifications
- At least 1 year of relevant experience (lot management, logistics, customer service, or the automotive industry).
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks; comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; flexible schedule, including possible weekend work as needed.
- Basic knowledge of safety and inventory procedures is an asset.
