We are currently looking for a Bookkeeping Clerk to join our team.
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for supporting the controller and the accounting department. You will need to perform tasks related to accounting/the overall accounting cycle.
The main tasks are listed below, but the holder may be assigned additional duties.
• Record and reconcile daily deposits
• Record new and used vehicle sales
• Calculate commissions and other necessary tasks for payroll preparation
• Reconcile vendor statements and the general ledger
Your strengths:
• Knowledge of accounting principles;
• Versatile and dynamic;
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills;
• Basic computer skills (i.e., Word, Excel);
• Attention to detail and an eye for accuracy;
• Education in the field of accounting (DEC, University Certificate, or Bachelor's degree);
