We are currently looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team at Mont-Royal Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac Inc.
Job Summary: Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for providing support to the controller and the accounting department. You will perform tasks related to accounting/the overall accounting cycle.
The main tasks are listed below, but the incumbent may be assigned other functions. • Record and reconcile the daily deposit • Record sales of new and used vehicles • Calculate commissions and other tasks required for payroll preparation • Reconcile vendor statements and the general ledger
Profile sought: • Knowledge of accounting principles; • Versatile and dynamic; • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills; • Basic computer skills (i.e., Word, Excel); • Attention to detail; • Education in accounting (DEC, University Certificate, or Bachelor's degree); • SERTI OR CDK (an asset)
Schedule: Daytime, flexible
Salary: Starting at $23/hour
