What we expect from you:
- Research, evaluate and purchase between 400 and 500 vehicles per year
- Negotiate prices and purchase conditions with various suppliers
- Inspect vehicles to ensure their quality
- Develop and maintain a good network of contacts (auctions, sellers, brokers, etc.)
- Monitor market trends to adjust your purchasing strategies
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to ensure our inventory remains relevant and high-performing
What you need to succeed:
- Experience in the buying or selling of used vehicles (non-negotiable)
- Good knowledge of brands, models, and price trends
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Self-starter with initiative and quick decision-making abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written French. Functional English for communication with some suppliers (not mandatory, but recommended)

• Research and evaluate used vehicles for acquisition, based on quality, price, market, and demand.
• Be able to purchase between 400 and 500 cars per year.
• Negotiate prices and purchase terms with sellers.
• Conduct visual and technical inspections of vehicles to ensure their compliance with the company's quality standards.
• Manage and develop relationships with suppliers, auctions, and private sellers.
• Maintain a database of available vehicles on the market and potential suppliers.
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure that inventory reflects market needs.
• Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
• Adhere to purchasing budgets and contribute.
• Annual salary between 80k and 120k, depending on performance
• Daytime hours, Monday to Friday

Desired profile
• Previous experience in the buying or selling of used vehicles (mandatory)
• In-depth knowledge of the used vehicle market, brands, models, and price trends
• Negotiation skills and cost analysis abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and make decisions quickly
• Good organization and time management
• Results-oriented
• Bilingual in French/English (an asset)
