The Olivier Automobile Group is looking for a General Manager for our dealership in Montérégie to join our rapidly expanding group.
Our dealership generates 800 units per year, including 400 used and 400 new vehicles.

Brief job description:
This is a senior executive position reporting to the board of directors for the management of the company and its performance; it oversees all directors. The candidate will need to manage and lead the dealership based on its core objectives of profit and capital return, personally carrying out the following tasks or delegating them to subordinates. They will be responsible for maintaining customer retention and the profitability of each department of the dealership, employing sound business management practices. They will also need to plan, coordinate the activities of the management team, and motivate them.
- Represent the concession
- Establish the mission and short, medium, and long-term objectives, projects, and policies of the concession, in collaboration with the concession
- Lead and authorize major projects and business strategies in compliance with established policies and the approval of the board of directors and/or the concession
- Ensure the financial strength and balance of the concession's structure
- Analyze the concession's operational results, compare them to the targeted objectives, and ensure that appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results
- Plan and lead any inquiries and negotiations related to mergers, joint ventures, acquiring other concessions, or selling significant assets with the approval of the board of directors and/or the concession
- Implement and maintain an effective communication system throughout the company
- Plan the concession's operations for the upcoming year and submit the plan to the concessionaire for approval
- Meet monthly with the controller/accountant to review departmental forecasts to ensure their consistency with the annual projections
- Meet with directors individually to develop monthly and annual objectives and review actual performance
- Monitor daily operational control and recommend improvements if necessary
- Ensure that monthly financial statements are complete, accurate, and submitted to the manufacturer on time.
