We are looking for a passionate and motivated Parts Sales Clerk/Advisor to join our dynamic team at 440 Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd. As a key member of our parts department, you will play an essential role in supporting our customers and our team of technicians, ensuring they have access to the necessary parts to maintain and repair their vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with professionalism and courtesy, and understand their automotive parts needs.
- Provide expert advice on the selection and use of parts, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Manage parts inventory and place orders to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Collaborate with service staff to ensure smooth communication regarding parts orders and availability.
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and in person, providing accurate information on pricing, availability, and delivery times.
- Follow up on orders and guide customers throughout the purchasing process.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; training in the automotive field will be considered an asset.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to build positive relationships with customers.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and inventory management systems.
