- Welcome the customer, build a relationship of trust, and demonstrate a serious commitment to customer satisfaction
- Assist customers in choosing a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses in order to properly identify their needs
- Explain the performance of products, their operation, and their benefits to potential customers in the showroom or via email
- Describe any optional equipment the customer may purchase
- Offer test drives to any potential customer and ensure that the appropriate identification is obtained before the test drive, following established policies
- Explain the terms related to long-term leasing versus traditional purchasing based on the customer's needs
- Obtain the necessary information and complete all documents required for a sale or lease
- Stay informed about new developments (products, features, accessories, etc.) and their benefits for customers
- Know and understand all federal, provincial, and municipal laws governing the retail sale of automobiles
- Maintain cleanliness in the work area
- Participate in any product and service training required by superiors
- Carry out any other tasks as requested by a superior and as needed by the organization.
