The sales representative/Assistant sales director plays a supportive role in the financial and operational success of a car dealership.
The tasks awaiting you are as follows:
Sales
• Welcoming customers: greet each customer with enthusiasm and kindness. • Assessing customer needs: identify the specific needs of customers, including their budget, preferences regarding models and features. • Presenting vehicles: explain the characteristics, options, and advantages of the various available vehicle models, organize test drives to allow customers to test the cars. • Advice and recommendations: provide personalized advice to help customers choose the vehicle that best meets their needs. • Price negotiation: discuss and negotiate prices with customers, taking into account discounts, promotions, and trade-ins. • Managing sales files: prepare and manage the documentation related to the sale. • After-sales follow-up: follow up with customers after purchase to ensure their satisfaction and foster loyalty, possibly offering additional services or updates. • Product knowledge: stay informed about new models and technical specifications. • Meeting sales targets: work to achieve the sales goals set by management. • Collaboration with the team: work closely with other team members. • Participate in continuing education activities on sales, customer service, and the products offered. • Know the automotive market in Quebec and the region.
Inventory management
• Ensure that used vehicles are in impeccable condition to uphold the brand image. • Take photos of used vehicles and take care of posting them.
