Reporting to the Supervisor of the light vehicle repair department of our St-Isidore Mechanical Workshop division, the role of the technical advisor mainly consists of listening to and analyzing customers' needs as well as providing explanations of the necessary repairs.
Tasks and Responsibilities • Scheduling appointments and welcoming customers; • Managing phone calls, emails, reports, and customer requests; • Explaining to the customer the nature of the maintenance or repair work to be performed; • Preparing repair orders for vehicles; • Closing work orders; • Ordering parts related to the work to be executed on the work orders and making warranty claims as needed; • Appropriately managing inventories; • Various data entry tasks; • Participating in the continuous improvement of the department; • Maintaining good relationships with customers.
