We are seeking a Workshop Foreman / Supervisor who is passionate about automobiles to join our dynamic team at Saint-Eustache Chevrolet Buick GMC Inc. As a key member of our dealership, you will be responsible for overseeing workshop operations, guiding the technician team, and ensuring the quality of service provided to our customers.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing and supervising daily workshop activities to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
- Leading and training the technician team to ensure they adhere to our dealership's high service standards.
- Developing and implementing processes to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Conducting thorough follow-ups on repairs performed, ensuring clear and transparent communication with clients.
- Collaborating closely with other departments to ensure smooth integration and functioning of all services.
- Distributing work among technicians.
- Monitoring work times.
- Regularly communicating with advisors during workshop operations.
Required Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in a similar role, ideally within an auto dealership.
- Strong team management and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- A diploma in auto mechanics or similar training is a plus.
- Organized, punctual, and diligent.
- Experience with the Serti system (a significant advantage).
- Experience with American products (an advantage).
