From father to son, twice!

The Landry family has been working in the dent repair industry in Drummondville for over 50 years. Initially renting with his father Émile, Louis Landry decided to build his own workshop in the early 1970s: Garage L. Landry et Fils at 303 William Street.

Situated in a strategic location, the business offered, right from the start, easy and quick access for its customers. In 1991, Jean-Pierre, Louis’s son, joined the garage team and quickly became an accomplished painter. Expansions followed, resulting from satisfied clients and a steadily growing demand. The company is recognized, appreciated, and thriving.

Over 50 years, knowledge, experience, and skills have sharpened and improved. Carefully chosen key partnerships have increased visibility and credibility for work already well done. Today, under the leadership of Jean-Pierre and his wife, the transfer of knowledge continues, development is maintained, and the desire to stand out through excellence is stronger than ever.

Healthy and solid growth

In 1994, thanks to the increasing popularity of its services, Louis faced the fortunate problem of needing to expand his facilities. Work was carried out to increase the service area and improve reception comfort, and the necessary tools were acquired to meet environmental protection standards.

Always attentive to pampering his clients and team, management added a rest area for employees, more spacious offices, and a small conference room to host guests. Traditionally, garages are usually uncomfortable, but not here. The motto: create a warm, welcoming, and positive atmosphere for everyone.

Later that year, Garage L. Landry et Fils joined ProColor Auto, a powerful and professional network that enhances an already highly appreciated customer experience. The company achieved ProColor Prestige status in 2002 and quickly ranked among the best franchisees. It now offers a national warranty and service elements that clearly distinguish it from its competitors.

Mr. Louis Landry, who is still active in the company, began the project 50 years ago. His son Jean-Pierre, full of plans, became the owner in 2004. "Here, it's a family story!"

Our 23 employees are mostly with us for a very long time. "Our success is a teamwork effort!" explains Sonia Essiambre, administrative assistant and Jean-Pierre's partner since the age of 16.

Training and Development

Our field is constantly evolving. Methods change, materials as well. And while technology makes quick and more precise interventions easier, technicians still need to know how to use it to its full potential. Our team regularly participates in advanced training courses offered by the Uni-Select Training Center and the I-Car organization.

This way, we ensure that the work done on your vehicle will be carried out by skilled technicians trained at the forefront of technology and concerned with keeping up with developments in the automotive market. Hybrid, conventional, compact, or family vehicles — our employees know how to repair all types.

Here are the services we rigorously master: body repair and finishing, estimates, color matching, specialized painting, three-stage painting (tri-coat, pearlescent), plastic welding, plastic part repair, windshield installation, chassis ("frame") repair, SRS -- airbag safety system, ABS brake system, air conditioning system, washing and polishing, aluminum repair, and boron steel welding. And because vehicles are increasingly equipped with the latest technology, we also hold certifications in scanning and electronic data management.
