Responsibilities
Job duties may include:
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned.
- Diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform the repair.
- Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
- Explain procedures and repairs directly to the Service Advisors.
- Perform road tests and safety inspections.
- Conduct other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Successful candidates possess:
- Automotive Licensed 310S Technician or 3rd/4th year Apprentice.
- Strong aptitude for technical/mechanical repairs.
- Valid Driver's License (Class G) and a clean driving record.
- The ability to work in a team with strong interpersonal skills and an upbeat, engaging attitude.
- The ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
- ODP Licence.
- Drive Clean-Light Duty Inspector Certification.

Position status disclosure: This posting is for an existing position vacancy within the SERVICE Department. This role is required on a FULL-TIME, PERMANENT basis. Comprehensive benefits package available.
Work location: On-site at INGERSOLL CHEVROLET BUICK GMC.
The expected compensation range for this role is $79,000 - $105,000/year (The range may vary based on experience and qualifications). This compensation encompasses base salary and vacation pay as required under Ontario Regulation 476/24 made under the Employment Standards Act, 2000.
