About the role
Diagnose vehicle systems and complete accurate repairs as a 310S Automotive Technician at Nurse Chevrolet Cadillac in Whitby, Ontario.
This Automotive Technician maintains vehicle safety and functionality through testing, preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs. You will use electronic diagnostic equipment, specialized tools, and OEM standards while supporting effective production and customer communication. The position includes mentoring apprentices and documenting completed work.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, test, and repair vehicle systems
- Perform repairs and maintenance according to OEM standards
- Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend necessary repairs
- Document completed work on associated repair orders
- Communicate with Parts and Service Advisors regularly
Requirements
- Provincially recognized Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate completed or in process
- Strong knowledge of various vehicle makes and models
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and safe driving history
