We are hiring a 310-T Fleet Mechanic for our Canadian Cash Logistics Fleet & Diesel business. The position will be based in our Mississauga Branch.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve accident and maintenance issues
- Coordinate with operations leadership to ensure vehicle availability over 90%
- Ensure that fleet vehicles are properly maintained and that all repairs are tracked in accordance with our accepted program and/or process(s)
- Work with operations leadership and vendors to ensure that assets meet regulatory inspection/certification requirements. CVI and PM schedules
- Maintain and order stock parts as needed
- Maintain overall functionality, cleanliness, and safety of the garage
- Present opportunities to reduce Repair & Maintenance costs and the overall cost of asset operation
Requirements
- Required: Possession of a valid 310-T license
- Must be able to work with and in an armed and unionized environment
- Must have a valid full G driver’s license
- Minimum 5 years experience in fleet maintenance
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance
- Thorough understanding of transport maintenance and industry in general
- Strong technical skills in software applications such as – Outlook, Excel, Word
- Strong Electrical and Diagnostic scan tool Knowledge.
- Strong team player
- Must be able to balance multiple tasks and prioritize on a daily basis
- Must be comfortable with a fast paced environment
- Ability to manage a team of technicians
