310T Fleet Mechanic

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Fleet Manager:

• Evaluate and ensure vehicle safety through preventative maintenance as required and in compliance with all Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and Voyago / Transdev guidelines.
• Utilize parts from inventory and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Service vehicles in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Keep the work environment clean and tidy.
• Complete required reports as directed (i.e. sign-off on driver-initiated repair logs and log books, and PM service logs by division).

Requirements

• Possess a minimum 310T license.
• Have ODP certification with A/C experience or be willing to obtain it.
• Have experience and working knowledge of heavy duty diesel repair, as well as gasoline.
• Have superior written and verbal communication skills and sound organizational competencies.
• Demonstrate leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
• Have excellent proven customer service experience.
• Have a valid G-class driving license.
• Possess a clean driving record.
• Have a clean Criminal Record.
