About the role
Are you someone skilled with their hands and are working as a mechanic? Have you completed a 310T apprenticeship program?
Our client has over 30 years of experience with utilities around the Greater Toronto Area. They are focused on various construction, engineering, and other operations to support national and international companies.
As a Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing trucks and other heavy diesel vehicles.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults/malfunctions and repair vehicle parts.
- Maintain various components, including steering, suspension, ignition and electrical systems, transmission (automatic and standard), as well as cooling and heating systems.
- Test and adjust repair systems to ensure the vehicle runs smoothly.
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles (including cleaning).
- Perform other related tasks, as required.
Requirements
You are someone who is punctual and professional. You take pride in your work and are responsible for your tasks without needed supervision. You also bring:
- Completion of 310T apprenticeship program.
- 5+ years of work experience in a similar role.
- Valid ‘G’ Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract required; Class DZ or better considered an asset.
- Must be able to operate manual transmission vehicles.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; including ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and safely climb a ladder.
