Elite Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram and Sherbrooke Fiat, based in Sherbrooke, Quebec, is seeking an Assistant Sales Director who is passionate about service excellence and team leadership to strengthen our sales force.
As Assistant Sales Director, you will support the Sales Director in daily oversight and guide a team of salespeople to deliver an exceptional customer experience while achieving the establishment's business objectives. You will be at the heart of a dynamic, customer-centric environment, where service quality and customer respect remain our priorities.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Sales Director in planning and executing business strategies and quarterly and annual objectives.
- Lead, train and coach the sales team; monitor performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rate, average transaction value and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the showroom and call center sales process, ensuring optimal pipeline management and an efficient flow of leads.
- Collaborate closely with the Service, Parts, Financing and Marketing departments to optimize the customer experience and foster cross-selling opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and service standards, and uphold compliance and professional ethics.
- Participate in recruiting, onboarding and ongoing development of sales staff.
- Prepare and monitor the sales budget and forecasts; produce regular reports for management.
- Develop and implement loyalty initiatives, promotions and incentive programs.
- Represent the team at cross-departmental meetings and local events.
- Ensure a seamless transition between sales and after-sales service to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
- Experience: 0 years required; ideally some initial experience in sales, customer service or team management (a plus).
- Education: DEC or equivalent in business, administration, marketing or related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
- Skills: leadership, excellent communication, customer orientation, teamwork, analytical and problem-solving abilities, organization and time management.
- Knowledge: knowledge of the automotive sector is an asset; proficiency with CRM tools and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Languages: fluent French; professional English preferred.
