Leon's Auto Body is a family-run business that has been serving customers since 1978 with a strong focus on customer care and quality service. The Automotive Body Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada (Toronto, Ontario).
Responsibilities
- Perform collision damage repairs, including body panel straightening, replacement, and alignment, while ensuring structural integrity and safety.
- Diagnose damage, disassemble and reassemble vehicle components, prepare surfaces, and perform paint and refinishing work to restore vehicles to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repair related to body and trim.
- Work with modern equipment and repair systems, and follow all safety and environmental procedures.
- Collaborate with service advisors and team members to meet deadlines, maintain high repair quality, and deliver an excellent customer experience.
Requirements
- Strong skills in Auto Body repair and Collision damage assessment.
- Proficiency in Paint preparation, application, and refinishing techniques.
- Experience in Vehicle Maintenance and general Maintenance & Repair related to body and exterior components.
- Formal training or certification as an Automotive Body Technician or equivalent apprenticeship completion.
- Knowledge of manufacturer repair standards, frame alignment, and use of modern body shop equipment.
- Ability to interpret repair estimates, follow work orders, and document completed work accurately.
- Attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; familiarity with environmentally responsible repair practices is an asset.
