About the role
Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full time Automotive Detailer. This position pays $18.50 / hour and is located at 499 HESPELER RD UNIT 6 CAMBRIDGE, ON N1R 6J2.
Enterprise Mobility operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo car rental brands and is the largest and fastest growing privately owned automotive rental and leasing company in North America.
We are dedicated to upholding the highest cleanliness standards in the industry. As an Auto Detailer and Car Washer, you will lead our commitment to exceptional cleaning practices, exceeding standard protocols to ensure the health and safety of everyone.
You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, ensuring they meet our high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.
Responsibilities
- Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
- Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior including cars, vans, and trucks
- Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage
- Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
- Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
- Verify registration is present, current and matches the license plate
- Check fluid levels and add as needed
- Check tire condition, pressure and tread depth
- Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
- Fuel and stage vehicle
- Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report warning lights and/or vehicle damage
- Pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
- Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
- Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from branches
- Help maintain overall site appearance including cleaning interiors and exteriors of branch locations
- Tasks include cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot and other related daily cleanliness tasks
- Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid Ontario G or G2 driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in past 3 years
- No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in past 5 years
- Authorized to work in Canada without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Availability to work Monday: 7:00am - 5:00pm, Tuesday: 7:00am - 5:00pm, Wednesday: 7:00am - 5:00pm, Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm, Saturday: 8:00am - 2:00pm (apart from religious observations)
