About the role
Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Full-Time Automotive Detailer. This position pays $20.00 / hour and is located at 815 FIRST AVE WEST STE 106 PRINCE RUPERT, BC V8J 1B8.
We are dedicated to upholding the highest cleanliness standards in the industry. As an Auto Detailer and Car Washer, you will lead our commitment to exceptional cleaning practices, exceeding standard protocols to ensure the health and safety of everyone.
You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, ensuring they meet our high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.
Enterprise Mobility is a leading provider of mobility solutions, owning and operating the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands through its integrated global network of independent regional subsidiaries. Enterprise Mobility and its affiliates offer extensive car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, as well as travel management and other transportation services.
Responsibilities
- Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
- Wash, clean and dry vehicle exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks
- Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify registration is present, current, and matches the license plate
- Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage
- Fuel and stage vehicles
- Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report warning lights and vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
- Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
- Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to/from branches
- Help maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior/exterior of branch locations
- Site appearance tasks include cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping lot, and related duties
- Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, training, and goal setting
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years old
- Valid British Columbia Class 7 or Class 5 driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in past 3 years
- No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in past 5 years
- Authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship now or in future
- Able to lift 25 pounds to assist customers
- Available to work Monday 9:00am-6:00pm, Wednesday 10:00am-7:00pm, Friday 10:00am-7:00pm, Saturday 10:00am-7:00pm, Sunday 10:00am-7:00pm (except for religious observations)
