About the role
As a Licensed Automotive Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and servicing a wide range of domestic and imported vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, inspect, maintain and repair vehicles according to customer needs
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic systems
- Perform road tests using safe driving practices
- Identify and communicate additional repairs or maintenance required
- Provide clear, prioritized repair recommendations and quotations
- Communicate with Service Advisors and customers regarding required repairs, when needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of current automotive technology and repair procedures
- Assist with the development and training of apprentices by monitoring and verifying their work
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work bay
- Keep company and personally owned tools and equipment properly maintained
- Complete daily bay inspections
- Contribute to a professional, customer-first service environment
Requirements

You bring:
- A valid Automotive Technician/Mechanic licence
- A valid driver’s licence
- Experience diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicles
- Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a team
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- The ability to remain productive in a fast-paced service environment
- A commitment to safe work practices and quality repairs
- Must be willing to work every other weekend
