Job Description
DASHMESH AUTO BODY INC is seeking an Automotive Mechanic located in Brampton, ON L6W 1L3. This position is permanent, full-time employment starting as soon as possible. The salary is $37.00 hourly for 30 hours per week.
About the role
Work must be completed at the physical location; there is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
- Test automotive systems and components
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
- Repair or replace mechanical units or components
- Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
- Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
- Area of specialization may include:
- Electrical and electronic system
- Brake system
- Fuel and emission system
- Ignition and electrical system
- Automatic transmission
- Standard transmission
- Engine repair and overhaul
- Imported vehicles
- Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system
