Responsibilities
- Diagnose the cause of any malfunction on a customer’s vehicle
- Perform accurate and efficient repairs
- Complete approved service on customer vehicles
- Test and adjust vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
- Perform scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups
- Advise customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements
- Maintain mechanical service equipment on a regular schedule
- Operate company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
- Support customer relationships by responding to inquiries
Requirements
- Licensed/Red Seal status in the Automotive Service Technician trade
- Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to customers
- Diagnostic specialist who enjoys keeping up with modern technology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to providing a superior customer experience
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driver’s abstract from province of residence annually
