About the role
Fountain Tire Grande Prairie (10205 156 Avenue) is looking for a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team!

Responsibilities
- Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer's vehicle
- Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency
- Completing approved service on customer vehicles
- Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer's performance specifications
- Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups
- Advising customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements
- Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
- Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
- Supporting customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries
Requirements
- Must be Licensed/Red Seal status in the Automotive Service Technician trade
- Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to customers
- Diagnostic specialist who enjoys keeping up with modern technology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to providing a superior customer experience
- Ability to maintain a valid driver's license and provide a satisfactory driver's abstract from province of residence annually
