About the role
MINI Toronto is hiring for a full-time licensed automotive technician! As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of vehicles. Working together with our team, more specific duties will include:
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing vehicles
- Ensuring the service shop is maintained in a clean, organized, hazard-free manner
- Participating in any required shop safety activities
- Participating in technical training as required
- Performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
- Test-driving vehicles, and testing components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicating directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
- Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

- Strong automotive background
- Red Seal Certified
- Strong teamwork skills
- Criminal background check
- Must have clean & valid driver's license
