Viau Ford, a Ford dealership in Saint-Rémi, is seeking a self-sufficient and motivated Dent Repair Technician eager to learn the secrets of the trade and deliver high-quality work.
Job type: Dent Repair Technician – Full time
Responsibilities
- Perform dent repairs while preserving the integrity of the surfaces and the vehicle's structure.
- Assess damages, determine appropriate repairs, and plan the intervention accordingly.
- Use specialized tools and techniques (hammers, forms and modes of striking, suction cups, inspection lamps) accurately to achieve an almost perfect finish.
- Collaborate with the body shop team to ensure complete restoration and prepare the vehicle for finishing.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the workshop, care for tools, and adhere to safety procedures.
- Participate in quality control and document completed interventions.
- Respect deadlines and customer priorities while ensuring durable results.
- Demonstrate autonomy while knowing when to seek team support when necessary.
Requested Profile / Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in dent repair or a related field; demonstrate progression and reliable craftsmanship.
- Autonomous, methodical, and meticulous, with constant concern for quality and detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team; excellent time management and priority setting.
- Ability to quickly diagnose damages and propose suitable solutions.
- Professional or technical training in dent repair or bodywork would be an asset.
- Respect for safety standards and workshop procedures.
