In this role, you will design and lead engaging activities, events, and volunteer programs that bring joy and connection to Residents' daily lives. It's a hands-on role where your creativity directly boosts engagement and quality of life.
About the role

Responsibilities
- Designs a creative and exciting activities program to meet the individual needs and interests of Residents, including the development of a monthly activities calendar.
- Assists with department goals as well as communicates the programs and processes required to achieve them.
- Supervises and retains volunteers.
- Identifies and develops opportunities to create relationships with other professionals, community partners and/or organizations.
- Coordinates the transportation of Resident to and from events outside of the Residence.
- Oversees seasonal celebrations.
- Actively supports in-service participation, meetings and committees.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Monitors resident participation rate and encourages attendance.
Requirements
- Education and/or experience in Recreation/Activation or related field.
- Good working knowledge of recreational programming and techniques.
- Experience in working in hospitality and event planning.
- Strong customer service skills and experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Extremely enthusiastic and creative.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook required.
