We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Detail manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about automotive detailing, meticulous in their work, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of vehicle presentation. We are looking for someone who will take ownership of this role, ensure the department runs efficiently and in concert with other departments. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated is essential.
Genesis KW Experience Automotive Detailer Pay Rate: $20 - 25 per hour Schlueter Hyundai

Responsibilities
- Clean and refurbish luxury vehicles before customer delivery.
- Wash, buff, and polish vehicle exteriors, including wheels and trim.
- Perform minor paint touch-ups to address chips and imperfections.
- Apply wax, ceramic coatings as required.
- Vacuum and deep clean vehicle interiors, including carpets, upholstery, and leather surfaces.
- Treat interior fabrics with stain-resistant products.
- Clean engine compartments using appropriate cleaning agents.
- Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove stubborn contaminants.
- Inspect vehicles for dents, scratches, upholstery damage, and other imperfections, reporting issues to the Sales Manager.
- Restore engine bay, upholstery, and painted surfaces using professional-grade materials.
- Apply tire dressing and clean wheel wells.
- Remove window stickers from sold vehicles.
- Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in pristine condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and management to uphold company standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in detailing new and used vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of automotive cleaning products, techniques, and tools.
- Experience applying ceramic coatings and fabric guard is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
- Highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Must be punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Valid Class G driver’s license with a clean driving record.
