Job Description
Your Role
At the heart of Mega Kia Brossard’s after-sales operations, you’ll ensure warranty claims are carefully prepared, documented, and submitted. Your knowledge of manufacturer requirements and strong organizational skills will help you efficiently manage files, parts, and receivables.
Responsibilities
- Process and submit warranty claims for each franchise or manufacturer in accordance with the required criteria.
- Make warranty-related accounting entries and ensure complete and accurate documentation.
- Reconcile receivables and payments according to established timelines, record credits in the appropriate software, and follow up on outstanding claims.
- Promptly resubmit rejected claims or obtain the necessary authorization to write them off.
- Track warranty parts: identify them using the repair order number, replacement date, and disposition date, then arrange to send them to the factory, distributor, or scrap yard.
- File and retain after-sales records in accordance with management and manufacturer requirements.
- Stay informed about manufacturer recalls and bulletins.
- Work with the body shop on warranty claims as needed and help ensure repairs proceed smoothly in the shop.
- Perform any other administrative duties assigned by your immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Relevant experience processing warranty claims in the automotive industry.
- Strong attention to detail when reviewing files, amounts, and manufacturer requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively with after-sales and shop teams.
- Motivation to keep your knowledge up to date in a constantly evolving automotive environment.
