Dilawri Group is now actively searching for a Licensed Automotive Technician- Night Shift (CP and Internal Technician) to join the team at Barrie Volkswagen in Barrie, ON.
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 11:00pm-7:30am
Pay Rate: $38-$41/Hour
Responsibilities
- Perform customer-pay repairs and maintenance services, and internal dealership work following industry standards and manufacturer guidelines as assigned.
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify any malfunctions and perform the repair.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to pinpoint complex problems.
- Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair recommendations to customers.
- Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on new vehicles and support the pre-owned department by inspecting, servicing, and preparing used vehicles for retail sale.
- Perform road tests using safe driving standards.
- Stay sharp and up to date on latest industry trends, vehicle technology, and repair techniques.
- Complete repair orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- Experienced Technicians with 3+ years in a fast-paced environment and a valid 310S license.
- Valid G license.
- Dealership and brand specific knowledge are beneficial.
- Strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs.
- Knowledge of the latest automotive technology and advancements.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
