Licensed Mobile Trailer Mechanic (310J/310T) | Up to $47/hr + $3,000 Sign on and up to $3,000 Retention Bonus
About the role
TEN Canada is hiring a Licensed Mobile Trailer Technician (310J/310T) to service commercial trailers throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). This field service mechanic position includes a fully equipped company service truck, competitive pay up to $47/hour, a $6,000 retention bonus, company-paid benefits, paid training, and opportunities for career advancement.
As part of TEN’s DriveON Program, a Mobile Trailer Technician’s workday involves travelling and visiting different sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of trailers and equipment—both the company's and customers’. From Dry Vans and Reefers to Heaters, Flatbeds, and Chassis, no two days or trailers are the same.
TEN is a North American leader in transportation equipment with a fleet of over 80,000 trailers, 240 service bays, 118 mobile service trucks, and over 430 skilled mechanics.

Responsibilities
- Travel throughout the GTA using a fully equipped company service truck
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, brake, suspension, ABS, and structural trailer issues
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections (PMs)
- Repair dry vans, refrigerated trailers (reefers), flatbeds, chassis, and specialty trailers
- Perform welding and fabrication repairs
Requirements
- 310J/310T Technician Certification and License
- Proven experience as a Trailer Service Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of trailer systems, including electrical, suspension, braking, and structural components
- Skills in preventive maintenance inspections, air brake systems, electrical troubleshooting, wheel end repair, welding and fabrication, lift gate repair, DOT inspections, mobile field service, and fleet maintenance
- Ability to safely lift up to 85 pounds
