Magog Ford, a Ford dealership in Magog, is looking for a Parts Clerk / Sales Advisor to join its dynamic team. In this versatile role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, mechanics seeking parts and accessories, and you will ensure communication between customers, the service department, and inventory.
Main responsibilities:
- Welcome, advise, and serve customers regarding Ford parts and accessories and compatible parts, aiming for an impeccable customer experience.
- Work closely with technicians and service advisors to ensure the availability of parts and adherence to deadlines.
- Analyze customer needs, recommend suitable parts, suggest complementary solutions, and handle the installation or removal of parts as needed for the vehicle.
- Process transactions and billing using parts management systems and point-of-sale systems, ensuring accuracy of prices and references.
- Manage the parts inventory: receive orders, update stock levels, label parts, and prepare orders for the workshop.
- Handle returns, warranties, and stock discrepancies with rigor and professionalism.
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Contribute to customer satisfaction and loyalty by providing quick, accurate, and courteous service, even during busy periods.
Required qualities and skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in auto parts sales or a related field, ideally in a dealership.
- In-depth knowledge of Ford parts and OEM parts; ability to read technical diagrams and nomenclatures. (An asset)
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, team spirit, and ability to manage multiple customers simultaneously.
- Proficiency with parts management and POS systems; meticulousness in inventory and order entry.
- Bilingual in French; functional knowledge of English would be an asset.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday.
- Relevant training or equivalent; desire to learn and develop in the automotive field.
