Job Description

  • Welcome and advise customers at the parts counter, understand their needs and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Identify the required parts and accessories from requests, using the catalog and the computer system.
  • Verify parts availability, propose alternatives and prepare orders; manage returns and exchanges according to procedures.
  • Process transactions at the counter (invoicing, discounts, warranty procedures), and ensure price accuracy.
  • Work closely with the Service and Sales departments to optimize cross-selling and maintenance recommendations.
  • Manage inventory: receive deliveries, organize and clean the parts department, participate in periodic inventory.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Hyundai parts and accessories and of parts for used vehicles.
  • Respect safety rules, internal procedures and service quality requirements.

Profile sought

  • Experience: 0 years required; beginners are welcome. Internal training is provided.
  • Education: secondary school diploma; relevant training in automotive parts or a DEP in automotive technology is an advantage.
  • Skills: excellent communication in French, customer service orientation, ability to work in a team; autonomy, organization and attention to detail.
  • Computer: proficiency with common computer tools and knowledge of a parts management system (ERP or counter software); ability to learn quickly.
  • Languages: French is essential; functional English is an advantage.
  • Valid driver's license (an advantage).
