Job Description
We are looking for a Parts Clerk / Sales Advisor to join the team at Élite Ford St-Jérôme in Saint-Jérôme, Quebec. In this versatile role, you will be one of the first points of contact for our customers seeking genuine Ford parts and accessories, whether in-store or by phone. You will contribute to providing an outstanding customer experience by supporting the parts department and ensuring the availability of necessary parts.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their needs for parts and accessories.
- Advise on appropriate parts and solutions, considering Ford specifications and the customer's vehicle.
- Handle orders, prepare quotes, process billing, and follow up.
- Check inventory, place orders with suppliers, and monitor delivery timelines.
- Manage the parts department inventory: receiving, labeling, organizing, and regular stocktaking.
- Work closely with technicians and after-sales service to ensure quick availability of parts.
- Manage returns, warranties, and exchanges in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to safety procedures.
Profile
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive parts sales (ideally in a dealership or workshop).
- Knowledge of Ford parts and parts management systems; experience with parts management tools (SERTI) is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
- Good organizational skills, rigor, team spirit, and ability to work under pressure.
- Fluent in French; operational English is an asset.
- Valid work permit and availability to work flexible hours.
