Sales Advisor

We are seeking a candidate with the following qualities:

• Bilingual
• Experience in automotive sales
• Valid driver's license
• 5 days a week
• Dynamic, hardworking, and motivated
• Good rapport with clients

Tasks related to the sales advisor position:

• Greet the customer, establish a trusting relationship, and demonstrate serious commitment to customer satisfaction
• Assist clients in choosing a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to identify their needs
• Explain to potential customers the performance of products, their operation, and benefits directly in the showroom or via email
• Describe any optional equipment the customer might purchase
• Offer test drives to potential customers
• Follow the dealership procedures to obtain the appropriate identification from the customer before the test drive
• Professionally explain the terms related to long-term leasing versus traditional purchasing based on the customer’s needs
• Gather required information and complete all necessary documents for a sale
• Know and understand concepts of equity and residual value and be able to explain the principle of depreciation to clients
• Negotiate the price and get the transaction approved by the sales manager
• Notify the sales manager during an exchange, refund, or credit note process
• Deliver 100 percent of concluded transactions to the sales manager, accompanied by all duly completed documentation (insurance information, transaction title, etc.)
• Properly prepare and inform the customer to optimize the meeting with the sales manager
• Set and get approval from management for personal annual sales goals
• Review and analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly activities to organize their schedule more effectively
• Stay informed about new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits for clients
• Know and understand all federal, provincial, and municipal laws governing retail vehicle sales
• Attend product and sales training courses as directed by the sales manager

Tasks related to delivery

• Check sold cars in preparation for delivery to customers before their arrival
• Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand operational features, warranty, and required documents
• Introduce customers to after-sales service staff to highlight the quality and efficiency of repairs and maintenance offered by the dealership
• Schedule the first maintenance appointment with the after-sales service
• After delivery, follow up on accessories, documents, or other special requests promised to the customer to ensure all expectations are met

Tasks related to follow-up and prospecting

• Contact clients within 48 hours after the sale to ensure their satisfaction, resolve any issues, and request feedback
