Job Description

Confidential publication – Sales management position in the automotive sector, based in Longueuil, Quebec.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and manage the regional sales strategy and operational plan to achieve growth and profitability objectives.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop a sales team to ensure target achievement in revenue, margin, and market share.
  • Manage and optimize the customer and dealer network, develop sustainable partnerships, and negotiate favorable business agreements.
  • Establish and monitor sales budgets, make forecasts, and produce KPI reports (pipeline, conversion rate, sales cycle, average basket, customer loyalty).
  • Work closely with marketing, after-sales, and operations to provide a consistent and profitable customer experience.
  • Implement and manage multichannel initiatives (direct sales, showrooms, online sales) and optimize business processes.
  • Develop and propose training and coaching programs for teams to improve their performance and product knowledge.
  • Represent the company with key partners, ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
  • Support product innovation and operational improvements based on customer feedback and data analysis.

Profile Sought

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a sales management role or similar, preferably in the automotive sector or auto dealership distribution.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and developing a sales network.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills; results and customer-focused.
  • Strong analytical ability, proficiency with CRM tools, and techniques for performance forecasting and analysis.
  • Knowledge of the Quebec automotive market and dealer network; understanding of after-sales issues and local regulations.
  • Proficiency in French; English is an asset.
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic, customer-oriented environment; mobility and occasional travel.
