Job Description

Toyota St-Jérôme, located in Mirabel (16 500 Montée Guénette, near Highway 15), is seeking an Internal and External Technical Advisor to join our dynamic team focused on the customer experience.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level technical support, both internally (to the service team and sales advisors) and externally (to customers), on Toyota vehicles and related technologies.
  • Diagnose technical problems, interpret results, and clearly communicate solutions and recommended steps.
  • Work closely with workshop technicians to coordinate diagnostics, repairs, estimates, and customer quotations.
  • Explain repairs, costs, and the best options to the customer in an educational and transparent manner.
  • Train and advise team members on Toyota technologies, service procedures, and quality standards.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of service processes and customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of diagnostics, recommended actions, and interactions with customers.
  • Stay informed of technical news and manufacturer updates to ensure compliant and effective service.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Minimum experience: 1 year in a technical role or automotive service; knowledge of Toyota systems is an asset.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in French; English is an asset.
  • Analytical ability, problem-solving mindset, and strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently while promoting teamwork and a professional environment.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software as well as service management systems.
  • Valid driver’s license; commitment to safety, quality, and standards compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work in a customer-oriented environment.
