We are looking for a Workshop Foreman / supervisor to join Joliette Ford Lincoln, a member of the St-Jean Group and a key player in the automotive industry in Greater Joliette. Job Description

Supervise and coordinate workshop (mechanical) activities to ensure the achievement of production, quality, and service objectives.

Plan, organize, and allocate daily tasks for the team, set priorities, and monitor performance indicators.

Oversee, train, and evaluate technicians and assistants; promote a safe, respectful work environment focused on continuous improvement.

Work closely with Parts, Service, and Reception departments to optimize workflows, deadlines, and customer satisfaction.

Ensure compliance with internal procedures, safety standards, and quality standards; participate in the improvement of operational processes.

Generate operational reports and communicate results to management.

Adjust resources according to busy periods and service priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role managing an auto repair shop or service workshop.
- Recognized leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate a team.
- Knowledge of repair processes, diagnostics, and inventory management; strong sense of quality and customer service.
- Planning, organization, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Good level of French; English is an asset.
- Degree in automotive technology or equivalent experience; valid driver’s license.
- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement practices.
