Job Description
Subaru Metropolitan, a dynamic dealership in Montreal (Saint-Léonard) and member of Tremblay Auto Group, is looking for a Technical Support Technician to join its after-sales team. In this role, you will provide essential technical support to technicians and contribute to the daily efficiency of the service.
Main responsibilities:
- Provide operational technical support to service technicians: basic and advanced diagnostics, assistance during interventions, configuration and testing of electronic and mechanical systems of Subaru vehicles, liaison with Subaru technical support.
- Assist technicians in continuous improvement of work techniques and increasing the efficiency of procedures.
- Participate in functional checks and quality controls after repairs.
- Collaborate with the Service and Parts departments to ensure a smooth workflow and an optimal customer experience.
- Strictly adhere to safety procedures, Subaru standards, and after-sales requirements.
- Diagnose and repair various mechanical and electrical systems.
Profile sought:
- 10 years of experience required. On-site training available; motivated candidates passionate about automobiles are preferred.
- Relevant degree (DEC or AEC in automotive maintenance, electricity/electronics, computer science, or related field); or equivalent experience.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive electronics, computing, and embedded systems; ability to learn quickly and adapt.
- Good team spirit, excellent communication skills, and a customer service-oriented approach.
- Organization and attention to detail; reliability and sense of responsibility.
- Availability to adapt to service hours and participate in training periods.
