At Léveillé Ford, a thriving Ford dealership in Saint-Jérôme, we are hiring an experienced Mechanic / Technician to join our workshop dedicated to technical excellence and customer service.
Minimum requirement: 5 years of experience in automotive mechanics.
What you will do
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain engines, transmissions, and electrical/electronic systems of Ford vehicles and other brands according to manufacturer procedures and standards.
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and revisions in accordance with quality and safety standards.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment and systematically document interventions in the internal system.
- Work closely with the service team and advisors to provide quick, reliable, and customer-focused service.
- Keep your workspace organized and adhere to internal procedures and safety requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training and contribute to the improvement of processes and work methods.
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive mechanics; DEP or equivalent in mechanics preferred.
- Good knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and ability to read technical diagrams.
- Ability to diagnose failures and propose effective solutions, followed by their execution.
- Team spirit, customer orientation, and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license; availability to work according to the scheduled hours.
- Ford experience or certification appreciated; knowledge of Ford technologies and manufacturer procedures considered an asset.
