Transport Truck Trailer Mechanic with Southern Industrial & Truck Ltd in Weyburn, Saskatchewan (S4H 2K7). Permanent, full-time employment; on-site workplace. End Post Date: October 31, 2026. Responsibilities
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
- Repair or replace mechanical units or components.
- Perform scheduled maintenance service.
- Test and adjust units to specifications.
- Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
- Coach and instruct apprentices.
Requirements
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
- Employment terms option: Day.
- Transportation/travel information: Own transportation.
- Work conditions and physical capabilities: Hand-eye co-ordination; attention to detail; manual dexterity; standing for extended periods.
- Own tools/equipment: Tools; steel-toed safety boots.
- Personal suitability: Dependability; excellent written communication; reliability; team player.
