Truck mechanics with 310J expertise can support Cascades in Scarborough through equipment repair, preventative maintenance, and safety-focused service.
This full-time Truck Mechanic position requires a Red Seal 310J certification, two years of experience, and a valid G Class license or greater. You will maintain road and plant equipment, including loaders, skid steers, forklifts, and hydraulic systems. The work includes diagnostics, repairs, inventory coordination, and regulatory compliance. Cascades schedules this position on afternoon shifts, from 3:00PM to 11:00PM Monday through Thursday and 3:00PM to 10:00PM Friday.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance checks and servicing
- Repair equipment and replace parts where appropriate
- Recognize and report equipment faults or malfunctions
- Facilitate safety inspections and follow OHS codes
- Coordinate daily service scheduling with Lead Hands
