Responsibilities

• Assist the General Sales Manager and General Manager in planning and forecasting goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.
• Develop and implement new and existing policies and procedures.
• Conduct monthly meetings with department employees to discuss activities and problems of mutual interest.
• Reach sales goals on strict timeline requirements.
• Grow revenue and profitability in sales territory.
• Report performance goals and achievements regularly.
• Handle all customer complaints timely.
• Assign work to Used Car sales staff efficiently and equitably.
• Ensure adequate staff availability to meet expected customer demand.
• Assist in developing and controlling departmental performance via daily operating control, efficiency and productivity control, comeback reports, warranty reports, telephone surveys, and monthly forecasts.
• Assist in collecting delinquent or slow paying accounts receivable for vehicle sales.
• Support Used Car Sales Consultants and drive a high level of performance in the sales team.
• Oversee efforts of Used Car Sales employees to enhance dealership image and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure customer retention and profitability by recruiting qualified sales personnel.
• Establish and enforce product-knowledge standards.
• Actively support, encourage, and motivate sales personnel daily to maintain high morale.
• Uphold all rules and procedures, including disciplinary action as necessary.
• Work in strict compliance with Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC) requirements and regulations.
• Comply with Laws of the Province of Ontario and Canada including Employment Standards Act, Motor Vehicle Dealers Act, and Accessibilities for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
• Understand and comply with federal, provincial, and local regulations affecting service operations, such as Occupational Health and Safety Act, waste disposal regulations, etc.
• Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures.
• Perform other duties as required by management.

Requirements

• Post Secondary Degree/Diploma in Business Administration.
• Experience in retail sales of motor vehicles.
• 3-5 years of management experience in the automotive industry.
• OMVIC Certification is required.
• Dealer CRM system experience is required.
• Valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
• Ability to support the organization’s goals and objectives.

Job Details

• Job Type: Full Time - Permanent
• Location: Brampton, ON, Canada
• Compensation: $125,000 - $175,000 per year (base salary plus monthly performance-based bonuses). Bonus earnings vary based on performance.
