- Revisar pedidos de trabajo y discutir tareas con el supervisor
- Inspeccionar el funcionamiento del motor, realizar pruebas de manejo, y diagnosticar fallas utilizando herramientas de diagnóstico computarizadas
- Reparar o reemplazar partes como el sistema de combustible, frenos, dirección, componentes del motor, control de emisiones, enfriamiento y sistemas eléctricos
- Probar y ajustar los sistemas reparados para cumplir con las especificaciones del fabricante
- Realizar mantenimiento programado incluyendo cambios de aceite, lubricaciones, servicios de neumáticos y alineaciones
- Asesorar a los clientes sobre el estado del vehículo y mantenimiento futuro
- Diagnosticar fallas y decidir reparación o reemplazo junto con el supervisor
- Completar informes de trabajo detallados
- Entrenar e instruir a aprendices
