As the Sales Director for used vehicles, you will lead a team of sales representatives and sales managers with the ultimate goal of achieving set sales targets.
You will need to ensure an optimal closing rate by providing training, motivating employees, and conducting rigorous follow-ups with your sales team. You will also be responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction, both in terms of delivery compliance and after-sales service.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise "T.O." transactions;
- Approve transactions;
- Oversee the team of assistant directors;
- Evaluate exchanges;
- Coach sales representatives;
- Ensure the operational functionality of the dealership;
- Produce daily reports;
- Follow up with clients who have visited the dealership;
- Maintain a relationship with the manufacturer;
- Maintain processes and apply new ones as needed;
- Be responsible for achieving both new and used car sales (note that at Grenier Volkswagen, sales representatives handle both new and used sales).
The Sales Director of used vehicles may also occasionally participate directly in meetings with clients. A specific objective for this will also be predetermined.
You must be able to work with a variable schedule, including evenings.
Required experience and/or training:
- Be recognized as being excellent in closing sales;
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a sales director in the automotive field;
- Have management experience;
- Be customer service oriented;
- Have a high level of results orientation;
- Be enthusiastic and motivated;
- Have good communication skills;
- Be responsible and autonomous;
- Have a professional appearance;
- Possess proven sales skills.
Salary: $90K to $120K.
