Job Description

Job Title: Customer Experience Director / Deputy Service Manager

BMW Montréal Centre, an authorized BMW dealer recognized for its operational excellence and top-tier customer service, with over 52 years of history and a team of more than 120 professionals, located in downtown Montreal, is seeking a passionate and results-oriented Deputy Service Manager to oversee the after-sales service and contribute to the outstanding experience that has built our reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the profitability and efficiency of the workshop by optimizing workflows, costs, and productivity.
  • Supervise appointment coordinators and ensure proactive management of workload and priorities.
  • Provide support and guidance to technical advisors to guarantee clear recommendations that meet BMW standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Create and maintain harmonious relationships with customers to foster loyalty and deliver a high-level customer experience.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to service (reports, KPI tracking, scheduling, parts and service management, billing).
  • Collaborate closely with other departments (Sales, Finance, Parts) to optimize processes and maximize overall performance.
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of departmental budgets and KPI objectives.
  • Promote continuous improvement, best practices, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture focused on customer service and talent development.

Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in the automotive industry or after-sales service.
  • Solid team management and supervision experience, with the ability to motivate, develop talent, and achieve objectives.
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of after-sales processes and management tools (work plans, CRM, inventory, and billing systems).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Fluency in French; functional English is a plus.
  • Relevant degree in operations management, mechanics, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Availability for schedules aligned with service needs; the structure operates with a regular workweek and is closed on weekends.
