Milton Hyundai is looking for an Apprentice Technician who can be groomed as a future Licenced Technician. Preference will be given to those with previous experience. Work with one of the leading automotive manufacturers in the world!

The Lube Technician/Apprentice is responsible for diligently performing oil changes, tire rotations, and servicing customer vehicles (based on ability and experience) to ensure both customer safety and satisfaction while contributing to overall departmental success.
An Apprentice upholds the dealership’s standards and values so that the customer is fully satisfied through every interaction with the service department. As a team player, the Apprentice fosters positive relationships with personnel in all areas of the dealership.
Also referred to as: lube tech, lube technician, apprentice, auto apprentice, mechanic assistant.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and tire rotations diligently.
- Service customer vehicles based on ability and experience.
- Contribute to customer safety and satisfaction and overall departmental success.
- Uphold the dealership’s standards and values through every interaction with the service department.
- Foster positive relationships with personnel in all areas of the dealership.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic.
- A team player with a positive attitude.
- Experience working on all makes and models is an asset.
- A self-starter who can take the initiative to complete assigned tasks.
- Dependable, reliable, trustworthy, and punctual.
- A valid Ontario driver's licence (G or G2).
- Flexibility to work some evenings and Saturdays on a rotation basis.
- Previous experience is preferred.
